Mobile Deposit Instruction

• Mobile deposits can only be made to your suffix 01.

• Mobile deposits have a 4-business day hold placed on them. If you attempt to access the funds before they become available, NSF and/or Member Privilege may apply. We reserve the right to place an extended hold, but will notify you via email if we do so.

• The maximum amount you can deposit per day is $2500.

• Checks drawn off your own CMFCU account, cannot be deposited through Mobile Deposit.

• The cutoff time for processing of deposits is 2:00 P.M. Any deposits made after 2:00 P.M. will be processed the following business day.

• If the signature on the front of the check covers or overlaps any part of the MICR line, the check may be rejected.

• Checks that have bright colors or that have ornate backgrounds may be rejected.

• When your deposit is accepted, you will see the message “Funds are normally received within 2 business days.” This refers to when checks are processed by the Credit Union and not when the funds are available.

• When the deposit has been approved, keep the check in a secure location for 15 days before shredding it.

• A proper endorsement is necessary for all Mobile Deposits. Any Mobile Deposit without a proper endorsement will be rejected.
